From Avocado to Zi Bi Bò
We respect the seasons of plants and products. Because we stand for food with a minimal impact on the environment. And because we only want to offer high-quality, tasteful products. This means that what we offer changes weekly and that some products are only available for a short amount of time (mangos, aparagus, cherries, etc.)
If no two days in nature are the same, why should the products in our online shop or on your shelves be any different?
Fresh fruit & vegetables
Most of our customers buy as much as possible from local farmers, choosing whatever is in season in Belgium, and they buy from us whatever doesn’t grow here. Makes sense! And we follow the seasons too. If there’s a shortage of broccoli or green beans, we’d never have them flown in from Kenya! Transparency is one of our core values, which is why all the farms and names of our farmers are clearly listed on our webshop.
Sometimes we have as many as 10 varieties of grapes on offer. In the supermarket, you’ll usually find just two: ‘white’ and ‘red’. Although such a wide choice doesn’t make our work any ‘easier’, we believe it’s important to offer such a diverse range. There are more than 4,000 unique grape varieties in the world, and if we don’t keep planting, harvesting, buying, and eating them, we’ll soon be stuck with just those two from the supermarket!
Thank you for choosing diversity!
